Confirmation-Eucharist: Preparation ideas for Families

This booklet for parents is intended for sacramental preparation which is parish-based and family-centred.

It presumes confirmation will be celebrated together with or immediately before first communion. The material, however, is grouped around four themes for each sacrament and so could be taken separately. Like the penance booklet, the resource is not set out as a formal course. Rather each chapter presents a range of activities that will enable parents and children to talk together, do things together, and pray together. Activities can be selected in any order and it is not envisaged that parents will work through all the ideas listed. Each theme includes a parent reflection and a child's worksheet.
