This is the official sacramental policy for these sacraments from the Archdiocese of Brisbane. In 1989, the diocese first began to celebrate confirmation before first communion. This policy was reviewed in 1996 and revised. The second edition was published in 1997. The policy is accompanied by a pastoral commentary.
