The Way of the Cross

Ideal for use in the parish or schoolroom during Lent, this booklet follows a simple scriptural format with people's responses and the hymn Stabat Mater . The images, reproduced in colour from Brisbane's Cathedral of St Stephen, are painted by renowned Australian artist Lawrence Daws. The fourteen stations are those produced by the Congregation of Rites in 1975: Jesus' Last Supper; Jesus in the Garden; Jesus Before the Sanhedrin; Jesus Before Pilate; Jesus is Scourged; Jesus Carries his Cross; Jesus is Helped by Simon; Jesus Speaks to the Women Jesus is Nailed to the Cross; Jesus and the Good Thief Jesus Speaks to Mary and John; Jesus Dies on the Cross; Jesus is Buried; Jesus is Risen from the Dead.
